Each year Heather and I kiss our husbands goodbye for the week and send them off to our industry's big CEDIA convention.  Just in case you're wondering what CEDIA stands for, it stands for Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association.  At the creation of Components we knew how important it was to be members of CEDIA and to have CEDIA certified installers working for us.  It is all a part of us trying to provide you with the most up-to-date information, knowledge and skills in our field.  So, Heather and I kiss the boys goodbye and send them off wondering what kind of wonderful new ideas and products they'll come back with.  This year was exactly what we expected - the boys had a wonderful time, learned all about the latest and greatest, enjoyed some lobster dinners (thanks to some of the vendors there) and came home ready to impress us with all that they had learned. 

As a past teacher, I understand the importance of continuing education and so that is one of the reasons that we have it as one of our priorities at Components.  We provide continuing education for our employees as well as for ourselves.  We even have a wall in our office that displays some of our many certifications and accomplishments.  If you haven't come down and seen it, I would invite you to do so.  It's pretty cool if I do say so myself.

I am glad that my husband has safely returned from a very productive trip to Georgia to experience another year's CEDIA convention.  I hope each of you will benefit from our company's proclivity to staying at the forefront of our chosen field.  Remember to "Let our experience help create yours."  Best wishes - Katie
